WashAndGo 8, Cleaning Up Your Virtual Home

Today, the majority of us think of our modern computers as of «almost-self-organizing-places.» We do not care much about how «clean» our digital environment is. As long as we are protected against viruses, we think «our computer is and always be OK!» But in fact your «virtual home», just like your real home, has many places that need regular cleaning. Many bad-tempered applications (not malicious, but slightly dumb) leave their temporary files, Windows Registry data and libraries in strange places. Even Windows itself is habitual to keep more information than it really needs — unnecessary DLLs, old service packs, and so on. All that garbage affects your computer the ways you’d rather not want for your virtual home: its disk space gets lower, Windows speed gets lower, minor system errors may occur…

WashAndGo solves two types of cleanup problems. The first one is «just cleaning», which means wiping out temporary, zero-size and duplicate files along with other «definite garbage».
